Jon is a Film Independent Documentary Lab Fellow. His films have screened at SXSW, Oaxaca Film Festival, Bahamas Film Festival, New Filmmakers New York, Portland Film Festival, Northwest Film Forum, PBS, and the Sundance Channel. Jon co-produced a documentary that was long-listed for an Academy Award nomination and won the LA Film Festival. Jon was also named to Vice's 50 LGBTQ Activist in 50 States for his work with the Appalachian Queer Film Festival.
